Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts
Avanzare is the leader of the Flame-retardant Value Chain (WP3) and it will be responsible for coordinating all activities across the value chain to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives. Its primary task is to develop improved Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) functional flame retardants (FRs) additives. This involves research to optimize additive properties through chemical modifications (e.g., phosphorylation, amination) nanoencapsulation and/or functionalization to enhance performance and sustainability.
