Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts

BECHEM will contribute in WP1 on the definition of specific indicators for targeted substances and products for all SSbD framework steps, and identification of potential substitution barriers, including adaptation of existing production lines. In WP2 BECHEM will support the development of safer alternatives to surfactants for industrial lubricants and will lead the scale up of alternative substances and their validation in real products (metal working fluids). Additionally, BECHEM will participate in WP6 (integrated human and environmental safety profiling), WP7 (sustainability assessment and profiling), WP 9 (stakeholder engagement, exploitation, and dissemination) and WP10 (Project Management and coordination).
