Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts

Centexbel will support the research in the value chain on phthalate-free plasticizers for PVC (WP4), by incorporating the alternatives into a PVC textile coating, and perform subsequent testing to assess the coating properties. Testing will be done both on lab scale as on the developed sport mat demonstrator. Further, Centexbel is also leading the work package on SSbD framework testing and implementation (WP5). More specifically, an analysis will be made on the specific challenges and gaps when implementing the SSbD framework, resulting in recommendations to improve the framework. A certification scheme will also be outlined. As all partners, Centexbel will also be involved in communication and dissemination.
