K-FLEX is a multinational manufacturing company specialized in the production of thermal and acoustic flexible elastomeric insulation materials. The company has production facilities and a network of subsidiaries around the globe in order to provide its products and services to customers wherever they are in the world.
Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts
K-FLEX is participating in the project as a part of the WP3, which will develop flame
retardants to replace antimony trioxide and chloroparaffin, among others. K-FLEX is
one of the demonstrators of the new raw materials that will be used to produce
elastomeric thermal insulation, in which the main polymer used will be acrylonitrile-
butadiene rubber (NBR).
