Yordas GmbH (YORDAS), a subsidiary of Yordas Group, is a leading international provider of scientific, environmental, human health, global regulatory and sustainability services serving various market sectors (industrial and specialty chemicals, nanomaterials, pesticides and biocides, consumers goods and retail, mining, oil and gas). Yordas is involved in a number of national and international projects investigating the hazards and risks arising from nanomaterials, in which it leads the dissemination, training, stakeholder engagement and exploitation work packages, providing both scientific and regulatory expertise.
Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts
Yordas will contribute in WP5 on testing and implementation of the SSbD framework with a focus on a definition of recommended SSbD framework improvements and SSbD framework proposed roadmaps. In WP7, Yordas will support the SSbD driven sustainability assessment and profiling, specifically with an iterative social and economic impact assessment. Within WP8, Yordas will contribute in the integration of the MCDA analysis methodology for SSbD decisions within the Decision Support System for iterative SSbD assessment of social, economic, and environmental aspects.
Finally, Yordas supports within WP9 with dissemination and communication activities (e.g. managing the website and social media channels), as well as stakeholder engagement and international collaboration.
